Straightforward information about what sessions cost, how NDIS funding works, and how to pay — with no surprises along the way.
Fees are confirmed when you book — call or enquire for current rates. NDIS-funded sessions are available.
NDIS funding
Dr. Olga Anderson welcomes NDIS participants, with sessions available in person, online, or by home visit. Counselling can be claimed under NDIS funding if you're self-managed or plan-managed.
If your funding is agency-managed, sessions with Olga currently can't be claimed under NDIS — it's worth checking with your plan manager or Local Area Coordinator about your options before booking.
Cancellations
As standard practice, we ask for at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session, so that time can be offered to someone else. If something comes up at short notice, please get in touch as soon as you can — Olga would rather hear from you than have you worry about it.
Payment
Payment is handled securely through Halaxy, our booking and practice management platform, and is taken at the time of your session by card or bank transfer. If you're self-managing your NDIS funding, you'll receive an invoice you can submit for reimbursement; if you're plan-managed, we can invoice your plan manager directly.
Common questions
How much does a session cost?
Our published rates are being finalised, so the most reliable way to get an exact price is to get in touch or book a session — Olga is happy to talk you through costs before you commit to anything.
Can I use my NDIS funding for counselling?
Yes, if you're self-managed or plan-managed, you can use your NDIS funding for sessions with Olga. Agency-managed funding can't currently be used, so if that's your situation, it's worth checking your options with your plan manager or LAC.
Is there a Medicare rebate, or do I need a referral?
No referral or mental health care plan is needed to see Olga — many clients choose counselling with her for exactly that reason. As a member of the Australian Counselling Association rather than a Medicare-registered provider, sessions don't currently attract a Medicare rebate. Some private health funds include counselling under extras cover, so it's worth checking your policy.
